June 2005
Sirs,
The June Report
Opening Statements:
State of the Club:
June was an ok month for the club. The summer slowdowns are in full effect now. Every army produced some results except for Prussia again. Overall it was a very busy month for the club as the next highest echelons of rank were achieved by Konstantin Koryakov and our own Phil Chimara. We started the sharpshooter contest and I invite everyone to participate. It is located off of the main website. Me and Steve went through and are still going through to verify all of the clubs info on games and records and stuff. Recruitment was very slow. Any friends you have who may be interested encourage them to check us out.
I also encourage all of you to use any games in other clubs for credit with us, we totally allow it!!
State of the Imperial French Armee:
Again we dominated the field with 8 promotions. We did very well in the overall scheme of things. The pages are in transition of being translated into French, at least the unit names and some other important names are. Also the Polish Corps is being translated into Polish. Thanks to Phil Bezard and Mieszko Ciesla for their help on that. All in all it was a good month.

As I write this it is mid-July and this past week has been a blessing for the club and Armee. With four new officers to speak of, a couple who are big fish in the Nappy Club and Gaming World, and plans in the works for so many things in the club, I am glad to see we are all in for an exciting summer and fall season.

May 2005
Opening Statements:
State of the Club:
May was a killer month for the club. All armies had good activity, except for Prussia. The Hannoverians finally got a Commander. We had some forum troubles, but we are well on our way.
State of the Imperial French Armee:
To use a trendy saying, we spanked all the other Armies this month and sent them to bed. :) This is the first month in a while that we truly dominated the field. We did have some Command changes and they are as follows:
Mark Wickhorst has gone MIA.
Alan Hartwick is the new Commander of the IV Réserve de Cavalerie Corps .
Patric Strijbis has replaced Mark on the Commandstaff as Chief Quartermaster .
Garret Fitzgerald has replaced Patric as the Commander of Armée de France (Army of France) Aile Centre (Center Wing) .
Other than that we are ok.

February 2005
Sirs of the Imperial French Army,
The February Report
Opening Statements:
State of the Club:
We had a fair amount of change this past month. First off the Inter-Army Tourney between France and the Anglo-Allies kicked off. It is going good so far. The Austrians got a new Commander, Greg Wleklinski and Mario Ostojic and their new website is up and running. So those were some small changes. The big change of course was with Tom Lachenmaier stepping down as webmaster of the club. He will still be with us, but will not be webmaster anymore. Steve Kitchen and myself have assumed the duties of webmaster and have already made a few changes to the site and will be working on more. This was a total surprise to the Club Board and the Club in general.
State of the Imperial French Armee:
We made out good this month. We got 3 of the 5 new members, one of which has written many articles on the Battleground games and his work is often cited in many Training Manuals and War Colleges. I rearranged slightly the configuration of the Armee. I used real Regiment Numbers that were involved in the 1812 Campaign and replaced many of the ones that never existed. Also the X Corps d'Armée (Reserve) has been made a full functioning Corps now called plainly X Corps d'Armée and Garret Fitzgerald has stepped in to fill as Corps Commander. I am very excited for this as Garret is a top member and great guy. He is also involved in so many games it makes you wonder if he sleeps at all!! ;) I have full confidence that he will do just fine as his passion for the games and the Napoleonic period are unending. Besides that nothing else.
New Recruits:
We had three this month:
Pierre-Yves Guinard-X Corps d'Armée
John Egan--X Corps d'Armée

January 2005
Sirs of the Imperial French Army,
The January Report
Opening Statements:
State of the Club:
Very good. The 1st round Club Championship is winding down. We had four new members, some folks actually joined other forces which is nice to see. The month went smoothly and all of the post holiday activity continued. Jim Hall racked in huge wins for us in the Interclub Tourney where we still hold the lead. The Russians, Prussians, and Anglo-Allies actually showed a little muscle this month and got a few things done and some Rheinbund and Austrians trailed in the rear. All in all a good month for the club, the diaries have seemed to slow down a bit, but conversation in the forum has picked up and we are back to the old banter again no thanks to Andy Barnes!! :)
State of the Imperial French Army:
As usual we owned the month. Had a lot of people get promoted and a lot of games played. Activity was high again this month and discussion plenty.
I am pleased to announce the return of our valuable friend and former Corps Commander and club father, Raymond Bursch . The Swiss Cheese man has returned!! Now I am confident we will succeed in glory with such a fine officer as him. :)
We started a little inter-army tourney with the Anglo-Allies this month. It will be a series of three or four battles to determine who is better us or them, and I am sure we shall win.
Lastly, I am looking for those finals musters from Paul Pratt, Jean-Francois Doree, Conte de Segur, Bernard Haulotte, and Bruno Mallet . You can submit one by filling out the info here:
